About Jonathan Vasata

Jonathan Vasata was born in West Islip,
New York and grew up on Long Island. He graduated from Western Carolina
University in 1994 after receiving a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art.
Post graduate studies include Stony Brook University, the School of
Visual Arts and the Fashion Institute of Technology, where in 1998,
he was granted a Degree in Advertising Design. He had been a New York
City resident for ten years before exchanging the bright lights of the
big city for the suburban glow of South Plainfield, NJ where he lives
with his wife Rebecca and their son Ryan. Together they own Shutterkids,
a local studio specializing in children and pet photography.
